For this assignment, I used the flash on my camera for different effects.

Photojournalism

For this assignment, I documented what happened when we experimented with dry ice. We dropped chunks of dry ice into a pan of cold water, then dumped the cold water with the ice down the kitchen sink.

Portrait Assignment

The photos of my mom were taken at the orchid show at Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis.

White Balance

I learned from this assignment that the white balance mode can make a difference in what the photo looks like. The white balance can completely change the color of the image and either enhance it or make it worse. This assignment made me more aware of the different modes on my camera and that I should experiment with them.
